Eligibility
The Liberation Route Europe Active Remembrance Youth Program (LRE-ARYP) is designed to engage and inspire young Europeans who have a passion for history, cultural exchange, and active learning. To ensure a diverse and dynamic group of participants, the following eligibility criteria must be met:
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens or residents of European countries.
- Language Proficiency: A good command of English is required, as it will be the primary language of communication throughout the program.
- Interest in History: Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in World War II history, remembrance, and cultural heritage.
- Commitment to Participation: Applicants must be available to participate in all scheduled activities, including trips, workshops, and online sessions.
We encourage applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds, including different cultures, genders, and socio-economic statuses, to enrich the experience for all participants.
Application Process
Applying for the LRE-ARYP is a straightforward process designed to identify motivated and passionate individuals. Here’s how to apply:
1. Online Application Form:
- Access the Form: Navigate to the ‘Sign Up’ section to access the online application form.
- Personal Information: Provide your personal details, as well as explain your motivation.
2. Submission:
- Deadline: Ensure you submit your application by the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered.
- Confirmation: After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation. Keep this for your records.
3. Selection Process:
- Initial Review: Applications will be reviewed by our selection committee, who will assess each applicant based on their eligibility, motivation, and potential contribution to the program.
- Interviews: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an online interview to further discuss their application and suitability for the program.
- Final Selection: Successful applicants will be notified via email and provided with detailed information about the next steps, including travel arrangements, program schedules, and preparatory materials.
4. Participation Confirmation:
- Acceptance: Confirm your participation by the deadline provided in your acceptance email.
- Preparation: Engage in preparatory activities and stay in touch with the program coordinators for updates and additional information.

- Final Selection Notification: Third week of October
- Program Start Date: October 28th 2024.
